I am exhibiting my piece The Wondering Womb in a group exhibition, "WTF: A Feminist Art Exhibit" at Studio 3 West in my hometown. The display is co-sponsored by the Duluth Art Institute and commemorates International Women’s Day by featuring edgy, thought-provoking works of art based on women’s rights and issues.
I am so excited that two of my pieces will be in March's Art of Resistance Event at The Third Place Gallery (Wing Young Huie's space). Art of Resistance is a monthly community gathering for creation, dialogue and justice. Each month we will feature various works from local artists, facilitate discussion and build our resistance through art.
I will have two pieces in the juried group show "Impressions in Nature's Elements" at the Hallberg Center for the Arts.
Come to my solo exhibition at the Paul Larson Gallery at the St. Paul University of Minnesota Campus. Opening Reception is January 20th from 6-8 pm and I will give tours of the show on Saturday, February 11th from noon to 2:00 pm
