Felted Winter Gnome Night Workshop
In this 6 week class you will learn non-conventional clay techniques and explore how paperclay can fit into your artistic practice. We will experiment, push boundaries and discover; it will be an adventure!
Help us celebrate Winter Solstice by bringing in light and sound for a special ceremonial evening. Create your own luminary and New Year prosperity shaker jar. Walk the evergreen labyrinth with our lanterns as we light the longest and darkest night of the year while drumming with intention. (All activities are indoors)

FULL (Email me if you are interested in taking this class in the future!) Scandinavian folklore is filled with tales about Nisse or Tomte, sometimes referred to generally as gnomes. These elusive little forest creatures live near the house and bestow good luck on those who are diligent stewards of the homestead, and play tricks on those who aren’t! Over time, these little gnomes took on more of a Santa Claus role, bestowing Christmas gifts on good-mannered children. Come join felting artist Mary Malsam as we will make some of these darlings out of felted wool from recycled sweaters. No prior experience is required. $30 (registration required)
Workshop / Event Cancellation and Refund Policy:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes/workshops at any time due to weather, less than minimum enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Classes must have a sufficient number of students to run.
• If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, registered individuals will receive full refunds.
• All refund requests will be assessed the Square Credit Card processing fee ( 2.6% + 30¢ per transaction - subject to rate changes)
• 100% refunds of tuition (minus processing fee) are granted when you cancel your registration at least seven days (one week) prior to the start of your class
• If you cancel fewer than seven days (one week) prior to the start of class or fail to appear, tuition will not be refunded. You can have a friend take your place, however the reimbursement is between you and your substitution and not the responsibility of Art Pharm.
Makeup Classes:
• No Make-up classes for individuals who miss a scheduled date.
• Makeup classes will be arranged only when a class date is rescheduled by the instructor or event facility.
